Down To The Basics

So what is the Hyperloop exactly?

The Hyperloop, first proposed by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, is the futuristic vision of transporting people in a “Hyperloop Pod” through a tube at speeds of upwards of 700 mph!

Momentum of VCU’s Team

Founded in September of 2017, we have been one of the fastest growing Hyperloop teams in the world!

We’ve combined arts, business, and engineering practices into one student organization through experiential learning.

Our engineering team is a mixture of disciplines in mechanical, electrical, computer science, computer engineering, etc!

The business team is dealing with first-hand what fundraising and marketing is like in the real-world by creating a dialogue between Hyperloop at VCU and companies.

We are paving the way toward a better future by improving Hyperloop technology with the creativity of the no. 1 public arts institution in the country.
